Where It All Started
It’s been some time since TA ELDER first spun his way onto the Cape Town music underground scene, and in that time he have established a reputation as one of the most innovative DJ of his generation. From mixing genres you wouldn’t think worked together, to creating new soundscapes with his incredible beats, TA ELDER has come a long way since his very first spinning session.

The Journey to success!!
Everyone wants to know, who is Athenkosi Skundla whom is better known by his friends, supporters and
people who believe in him as TA ELDER. A young man aged 25, born and brewed in the Eastern Cape. However, with opening of new channels in life moved to Cape Town 2006.
During year 2007/2008 with the love and passion for music followed his calling in music started as a computer Deejay but late 2008 were introduced on cdj's. The genre choice which undertaken was Deep house and Old school kwaito.
Through the passion played in various clubs in
Town, clubs such as
1.Capello's,sugar rays,
2.Cumba's,
3.Club7,
4.Sky lounge,
5.Jika lounge
6.space bar and
7.Olimp sport bar,
He was also a resident deejay at Olimp sport bar,Indoni lounge in Samora and Lesapong lounge in Phillipi in all different times and demand grew from time to time.
His style of music has opened doors for him because he also played in Eastern Cape. Thus, a place called Tom in East London called upon him to play in one of their events. TA ELDER has also travelled to Roadhouse tavern (Padarrose) in Fort Beaufort. He has played twice on CTDMF (Cape Town Dj's Music Festival)
Through his music path he has shared the stage
with the likes of (a) Naakmusiq,(b)Deejay Kent ,
(c)Pastor the deejay
(i)Naked dj and other underground scene djs in cape town and east london like of Atro,Master Cash,Blaq huf, Chronic,Messive Music Djs and Many More
There have been also radio interviews and where
the music was shared at (Umhlobo wenene fm) and
